Welcome to our latest interior project – a captivating wine shop in Limal. Nestled within the vibrant community of Limal, this former wine merchant is undergoing a remarkable transformation into a versatile space that will house a wine store, exhibition venues, concert hall, and seminar room. As the lead designer, I was tasked with revamping the interior to accommodate these diverse functions while infusing the space with an industrial-style charm adorned with lively and vibrant accents.
Before
During my initial visit, I encountered a space frozen in time, having remained unchanged for 13 years . The primary challenge was to seamlessly integrate the varied activities while ensuring optimal space utilization and flow. The owner’s preference for an industrial aesthetic* presented an exciting opportunity to marry functionality with rugged charm.

What is Industrial?
Industrial style in interior design is characterized by the use of raw, unfinished materials such as exposed brick, concrete, and metal accents. Dark colors dominate the palette, complemented by warm wood elements. Exposed plumbing and mechanical systems are embraced as architectural features, adding to the rugged and utilitarian aesthetic of the space.
Preserving mobility was key, allowing for effortless transitions between setups for different events. Custom-made furniture was designed to elegantly showcase wine bottles and glasses, adding both practicality and aesthetic appeal.

Versatility was at the core of our design approach, reflected in the curated lighting system adaptable to the changing demands of the space. Vibrant accents were carefully selected to create a welcoming atmosphere against the industrial backdrop. Meticulous attention was paid to soundproofing, ensuring a delightful acoustic experience for patrons enjoying wine tastings, exhibitions, concerts, and seminars.
